The Scout Hut was found having been pulled off its foundation and sent down Fleitas for several blocks, crossing the railroad tracks and stopped by the metal building it lays against. Trey Campbell sent these in as the new target that the Rotary will be faced with in its Scouting Mission.
These pics are the boy scout hut. We will work on national contributions to get scout hut back.
C.C. LYNCH remains strong and we are aggressively working to rebuild in the Pass. (Not much commercial buildings remaining. Stop by and check it out next trip, we need to challenge others to do likewise. Commercial recovery in Pass is critical.
We saw Dr. Ronald Hunt DVM - he lost over 20 pets in his building; and is crushed. But he will be back.
We should turn focus to recovery and I'll send you some shots of just that.
Challenge the people to help rebuild.
I was told that PC Public Schools is keeping every teacher who stays. A great unmet need is site locations for teachers, admin, etc. to move FEMA trailers to --- so they can return for the reopening of school.
My family is sponsoring a teacher and her husband on our property; which is about as much as my utilities (septic tank,
electric) can handle anytime soon. My neighbor is taking on 2 or 3 teacher trailer sites.
More sites are needed (hopefully close to Delisle Elem.
